"Trellis at Brookside"

I have kept this painting for many years because the Rose Garden at Brookside Gardens probably no longer resembles  this painting with its sweet trellis set amidst the rose bushes.  In one sense, my paintings serve as a documentary of places I have visited - especially when those places whose beauty I have preserved in oils no longer exist.
