"Meandering Azaleas"

Originally this painting had two people walking down a path through the middle of this dense garden. As I painted, I noticed the patterns and rhythms that were developing so I basically followed their lead and deleted these two people and also a large, too obvious evergreen tree. Thus "Meandering Azaleas" came into being and I must take issue with anyone who says my paintings are too "realistic".
