Greenfield Village is one of the five districts of the Henry Ford complexes in Detroit Michigan.  To quote from their website "Entering Greenfield Village is like stepping into an 80-acre time machine.  It takes you back to sights, sounds, and sensations of America's past."  Here there are 83 authentic, historic structures and it is a remarkable undertaking.

Inexplicably, I chose the one sight to paint that was imported from England, the "Cotswold House".  Here the gardens were so lush and overpowering it was an obvious "Joann Rea" landscape.
